Perennial Garden Plants
March 2010

Stop By Sickles Market For All The Good Stuff For Your Home & Landscape!

Spring brings beauty to the Two River Area.  With fertile soil and an ideal weather zone, Little Silver, Rumson, Red Bank, and Fair Haven offer great plans for the gardener!

Our first set of arrivals for the perennial yard are hellebores.  There are several types of hellebores with different colored flowers.  The flowers are white and pink, candy tuft, and Viola 'Etain'.

After the hellebores, expect Itoh Peonies.  These peonies arrive in a dormant state early in the Spring.  Plant them in your garden, where they will take root, and they will return beautiful peony flowers.

The next set of arrivals for Spring 2010 will be fruit bushes and fruit trees bearing edible fruits.  Sickles Market's fruit tree selection will include fig trees, cherry trees, peach trees, and apricot trees.  The selection of fruit bushes will include blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries.
